Living in a place with limited space, Manoj Ranjan found his passion for gardening constrained. His resolve led him to utilise the small patch outside his home – once a dumping ground for garbage – to turn it into a garden.

When Manoj Ranjan's family moved to Ranchi for work, space constraints hindered his gardening passion. Observing people dumping garbage outside his house, he decided to turn the area into a garden. Today, it boasts 200 plant varieties and has become a local attraction and popular selfie spot.

The 54-year-old Union Worker from Thiruvananthapuram diligently carries a bucket of water from a pipe connection in the vicinity every single morning to water the blooming flowers.
