Three friends adopted the Gubbalala Higher Primary School in Bengaluru. Over the past 15 years, the school strength has tripled, while alumni are pursuing engineering, medicine and doctorates today.

Madhya Pradesh teacher Gopal Bhalwala spent Rs 3 lakh from his savings to transform a government school, equipping it with water facilities, a library, and a garden.

Srinivasan N, Sriram Visvanathan and Srinivas Padmanabharao formed the Tranquil Charitable Foundation (TCF) and adopted the Gubbalala Higher Primary School in Bengaluru. Over the past 15 years, the school strength has more than tripled, alumni are pursuing engineering, medicine and doctorates today.

Assigned to a Government school lacking even basic amenities, Madhya Pradesh school teacher Gopal Bhalwala used up Rs 3 lakh from his savings to overhaul the entire facility, install water facilities, build a library, and grow a garden from scratch.
