Barabanki farmer Dheeraj Verma used hydroponics to grow 9,000 strawberries in 60 days, earning Rs 3 lakh — using just 3,500 sq ft and a DIY curd-copper spray.

There are four critical farming operations -- weeding, drilling seeds, spraying fertiliser and laying manure -- all taken care of by 18-year-old Ramdhan Lodha's solar powered machine.

Suman has sold over 800 plants so far and has been receiving calls for Sadabahar saplings from all over the world.
