Radhesh Agrahari runs Golden Feathers, a startup which converts chicken butchery waste including feathers into a ‘wool-like’ fibre and handmade paper.

Shruthi Prakash, 28, was always drawn to home decor. She started her brand Ombak in 2022 making sustainable furniture, which stands out for being made of waste plants, water hyacinth, seagrass, banana fibre, and more.

Sunita and Suhas Ramegowda run 'The Good Gift', a startup that is bringing back the age-old practice of making rag dolls based around craft-making. While doing so, they have prevented 8,000 kg of textile waste from entering the landfills and empowered at least 200 tribal women in the Nilgiris.

Noticing the lack of sustainable alternatives to plastic stationery in India, Delhi-based Saurabh H Mehta started NOTE (No Offence To Earth) to develop a biodegradable pen. He has sold over 20,000 units so far.
