Inspired by success in a National Robotic Competition, 100 students from ZP school, Gadiwat near Aurangabad are learning Japanese for a future trip to Japan

Dr Vijay Suryawanshi who was the Kolhapur Zilla Parishad Chief Executive Officer in 2014, noticed a lack of sports facilities & decided to start a resident sports school in Kolhapur.

Mumbai-based NGO Aarambh has been supporting the government school in Saphale in Palghar for the past five years and now wishes to repair and renovate the school’s rickety building.

Even as urban India continues to develop at a dramatic pace, a tiny settlement in Maharashtra still awaits what most of us take for granted - electricity, potable water, roads….and a well-functioning school.

Avinash Nakat honoured the memory of his wife in a heart touching way – by digitalizing a zilla parishad school with the money that was earmarked for the rituals after her death.
