Hailing from Malappuram in Kerala, Devika now aspires to join the prestigious Civil Services someday and is striving hard towards her goal. 

The Better India got in touch with co-founder Rachna Rao, to document the journey of this unique startup.

The couple started cutting the grafts from their trees for new saplings and started ‘Shekhawati Krishi farm and Nursery’ in 2013.

“At one glance, it is just another piece of clothing. But we don’t realise the effort and natural resources that went into weaving that fabric and creating the garment. The lack of consciousness was one major challenge to set the balance right.” #Respect #Inspiration
