Utsow Pradhan, founder of Tieedi, left his corporate job to restore his ancestral land in Darjeeling, which had turned into a dumping ground. Through zero-waste initiatives, eco-trails, and community involvement, he’s creating sustainable villages, reviving local traditions, and helping restore the fragile Himalayan ecosystem. ‘Tieedi,’ an acronym for “Take It Easy, Easy Does It.”

Delhi fashion designer Meenakshi Sharma’s sustainable venture Use Me Works relies on the principle that “nothing is really waste”, and upcycles waste fabric into home decor, bags, clothes and more.

Scheduled from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. with breaks every two hours, the team began the first day by cleaning up the school playgrounds and retrieved over 100 bags of trash.
