Varanasi Ghats

Thousands of migrant workers, homeless people, and those abandoned by their families come to the ghats of Varanasi in search of work, shelter, and a sense of belonging. With just Rs 300, you can #DonateABlanket to someone in need. Every blanket made saves 10 kg of textile waste from ending up in landfills.

Temsutula Imsong and Darshika Shah took matters into their own hands and cleaned some of the filthiest ghats in Varanasi on their own, with help from social media. Here's how they even caught the attention of the PM.
