“The only answer here is practice. One has to write answers and attempt mock tests within the proper time limit. I started first by writing answers daily which was three answers within the stipulated time limit,” shares Akshat.

“We both have derived a lot of strength and support from each other,” she shares.

When her previous attempt in the Civil Service Examination yielded a 99 rank and secured her an Indian Police Services post, Namrata again sat for the exam in 2018, scored an All India Rank of 12 to get her dream job of the Indian Administrative Services.

A wife and a mother, Uma did not let the failures get her spirit down. The determined woman had made up her mind, and her perseverance paid off in 2018 when she cleared the CSE.
