Officers IAS Academy in Chennai founded by Israel Jebasingh has mentored over 3000 plus CSE aspirants over the years. Of which 300 are officers today.

This is the first time that the UPSC is extending this facility to candidates appearing for the Civil Service Examination (CSE). This facility to withdraw the application was first introduced in the Combined Engineering Services exam in 2019.

“Our financial strain was rising. Even getting the loans I had taken to ensure that the children get a good education was tough."

“For two years, I sat at home, feeling like a burden. Some said my parents spent ‘too much on a girl’s education’. After a point, I started believing it."

A total of 88 candidates have been recommended by Union Public Service Commission against the total of 90 reported vacancies.

“It all started as an informal ‘Rajni fan group’ on Whatsapp, amongst a bunch of us officers. The intent was to spend some time together outside the office setting in a relaxed manner. It was our very own stress buster. In the course of the conversations, we gathered that each one of us wanted to help aspirants realise their dreams."

Given that the exams span over the entire year, we have grouped them into every quarter and also linked the official notification for the ease of your understanding.

Every eligible candidate will be allowed to attempt the same for a maximum of six times.

“Preparing for the UPSC exams can be stressful, and through it all, one must find ways to stay motivated. There will be moments when we lose focus, feel disarrayed, and even disoriented, but it’s important to find something that keeps you going.”

If the candidate clears the preliminary paper, then the general paper will be held on 18 September 2020.
