‘Billy’ Arjan Singh, once a hunter, became a legendary conservationist dedicated to saving India's tigers, transforming Dudhwa into a tiger reserve and founding 'Tiger Haven'.

A more digitally equipped process with the aim of clinching more accurate results sans human error will be part of the fourth All-India Tiger Estimation.

Not only will volunteers search for signs of the tiger, but they will also record signs of human disturbance to the environment, counts of herbivores and other carnivores, including panthers, and even measure levels of ground cover.
