The brain behind Bengaluru startup Cydee Technologies, Monica Jha built a sustainable innovation that reduces the number of street lights required for well-lit space, saving energy and money.

IIT Delhi has set up a charging station that can effectively utilise and store renewable energy. The device is powered by a Vanadium Redox Flow Battery and can be used to charge mobile phones, laptops, portable chargers, and tablets.

“They (police) are guarding and keeping all of us safe in such testing times while being away from their families. Heat is not just an inconvenience, it could kill and our city has proved that in the past. The lockdown has seen a united front put up by everyone by helping each other. As an engineering student, this is my contribution."
