Banyan Nation, a Hyderabad-based vertically integrated plastic recycling company, has designed a unique system meant to collect plastic waste in vast quantities and produce premium-quality recycled bottles.

Aditya Banger, a resident of Bhilwara, Rajasthan, launched Trash to Treasure which recycles plastic bottles, wrappers and covers into fabric for clothes.
Hansu Pardiwala, Kunti Oza and Chitra Hiremath of Mumbai started The Milk Bag Project in 2019, through which they collect empty milk packets and give them for recycling. The idea was inspired by a viral social media post.
“Being a teacher, I am always concerned about issues related to the village where I work. This initiative inspires cleanliness, as well as revenue,” says 35-year-old Mathematics teacher Lomas Dhungel.
