Once a year, the gates of Amrit Udyan inside Rashtrapati Bhavan open to the public. From spring flowers to new garden features, here’s what you can expect and how to plan a visit.
The flowers at the Mughal Gardens have been named after famed personalities like Queen Elizabeth, French fashion designer Christian Dior, and presidents from across the globe.
Rashtrapati Bhavan's Mughal Gardens will open for public from February 12 to March 19 this year, between 9:30 am to 4:00 pm. The Mughal Gardens Udyanotsav is a month long festival celebrated every year, and people can also visit the Spiritual Garden, Herbal Garden, Bonsai Garden and Musical Garden as a part of the festival.
