Born in Kaziranga, Assam, Manoj Gogoi developed a deep love for wildlife from a young age and has rescued over 6,000 animals since starting his organisation in 2007. He continues to work tirelessly to save animals, especially during floods.
“A boy once came running to our office, a turtle in his hand. He told us that his family wanted to keep it as a pet. So the boy “stole” the turtle and brought it to us, wanting us to leave it in the wild. Such is the impact of Manoj.”
