Srishti Parihar with Share a Book India Association is creating a nationwide movement that bridges gaps in education, bringing books, literacy, and a love for reading to thousands of underprivileged children.

The beneficiaries can be bibliophiles in search of that one long lost book or underprivileged school or college students. Let’s spread the joy of reading to those who can’t afford it.

With unlimited access to content from all over the world, IRCTC users can access this exclusive provision through their phones and tablets.

The architects behind the fantastic pursuit are Onaiza Drabu and Prachi Jha, who send out letters to all the people who are looking for something interesting and meaningful to read through Daak.

Inviting anyone and everyone who is willing to donate books, the drive intends to collect books which will be used to put together libraries in government schools and orphanages identified by the team across Thiruvananthapuram.

Lakshmi Karunakaran, with the volunteers, has been conducting reading sessions with the children of about 200 families living in a slum.

The fully-computerized 'Aksharam' library was set up by Anirudh Mahesh and Aamir Kudel, higher secondary students of Emirates International School in Dubai, after renovating the existing library of the school.

Marking the books with 'Books on the Delhi Metro' stickers, they drop these in the metro and post clues about the locations on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook.
