In Odisha’s Ganjam district, the Nirikhyana initiative, led by Dibyajyoti Parida IAS, provides free ultrasound scans to rural pregnant women, bridging healthcare gaps and reducing maternal and neonatal deaths. This has helped reduce neonatal deaths to half in just two years.

Known for his people-centric initiatives, Ganjam Collector Vijay Amruta Kulange braved big odds to crack UPSC, become an IAS officer and fulfil his dream of serving the common man.

The milk ATM in Berhampur has a carrying capacity of 500 litres. One litre of milk is sold at Rs 40 and the consumer take out a minimum of 250 ml of milk at Rs 10.
