After her retirement as an anesthesiologist, Dr Maya Tandon dedicated her time to saving lives on the road. Through her NGO Sahayta Trust, she has trained around 1 lakh individuals in road safety.

Under the first phase, the clinics will be set up at major stations like Andheri, Churchgate, Mumbai Central and Bandra, and will slowly expand to all 24 stations on the Western Railway line.

ResQ Charitable Trust in Pune rescues and treats injured and sick animals and birds, including dogs, cats, rabbits, pigs, elephants, cows and monkeys from across the city.
