Three friends adopted the Gubbalala Higher Primary School in Bengaluru. Over the past 15 years, the school strength has tripled, while alumni are pursuing engineering, medicine and doctorates today.

After retirement, NRI Syed Hussaini launched his foundation, SEED USA, to provide education, healthcare, and employment to underprivileged Indians back home.

“About two years before my retirement. I started getting actively involved in social causes. Since I spent most of my younger days ensuring that I provided well for my family, I wanted to do something meaningful for those less fortunate.”

12-year-old daughter Maanavi has been helping the needy for four years now. Be it raising funds for charitable organisations or gifting stationary to kids at an orphanage – Maanavi is actively involved in working towards the betterment of others in whichever way she can.
