As part of the SBI Youth for India Fellowship, Lakshmi Nair moved to Satbunga, a remote village located in Nainital district in Uttarakhand to work with the Central Himalayan Rural Action Group. Here's her story.

“For a girl in a village, access to technology education can open up a world of opportunities--enabling social mobility, improved gender equality, and a chance to break out of the cycle of poverty,” says one of these brilliant changemakers.

Be it fighting air pollution, providing access to quality healthcare in remote areas or aiding the differently-abled, these individuals have shown extraordinary examples of how ingenuity and altruism can make the world a better place.
