After the tragic crash of Air India Flight AI-171 in Ahmedabad on 12 June, local NGO Darshana Animal Welfare, led by Akash Chavda, rescued injured dogs and birds from the blaze. The team worked tirelessly from afternoon to midnight, providing emergency care to traumatised animals left behind.
