“I started by researching about it and then, once I made a few soaps, the interest grew. Soon, people around me began asking for the soaps and that is how it all started,” he shares.

“It is imperative that the book is read cover to cover for the first 2-3 times. The nature of the book is such that if an aspirant reads it logically, one will be better placed while later memorising important aspects of the book.”

Karnataka’s Primary Education Minister Suresh Kumar announced that all private and aided schools in the state will also have a water bell that will ring three times during school hours to remind students to consume water.

“We plan as per the season and often scour through the local nurseries to get our seeds etc. In terms of a daily time commitment, it takes us a good two hours each day."

While this will apply to all the National highways and a selected few State highways, to begin with, by March 2020, it will apply to all State highways.

“I observed that the dropout rate was extremely high in the school and my first challenge was to change this. It did not help that the school had no infrastructure,” says Kotresh.

Dr Mani, who has spent almost four decades in the teaching profession, says, “I retire next year in October and in an attempt to do something meaningful at the time of my retirement I toyed with the idea of setting up a crockery bank in college.”

Most of us believe that it is crucial to eat a good breakfast because it helps the body and mind replenish itself after a period of rest. But is that true?

“I was born in a family in Nizamabad with no financial means to support me at all. Very early on in life, I realised that I would have to fend for myself and also help my family in whatever way I could.”
