Women Commercial Pilots

Besides having the highest proportion of female commercial pilots in any country, India has a booming aviation industry with more and more women entering into the field.

Out of the 10,000 commercial pilots in the country, about 12 percent are women. Though the number might seem small, it is significantly higher than the global average of 5.4 percent!
