'ScrapJi', a startup founded by two friends from Thane, is streamlining waste collection and recycling 10 tonnes of scrap monthly. With a vision for a trash-free India by 2030, they are combining technology with traditional scrap collection to create a sustainable, scalable model.

The members have installed a compost machine, and today, most of the wet waste generated is transformed into compost and used on the gymkhana's cricket field. They supply the surplus to the BMC and neighbouring societies.
