Amidst the constant taunts from relatives, spending hours on travelling to the classes and taking the numerous tests, staying up at night to study, and making sure her troubles did not disturb her mentally, IAS Komal Ganatra emerged as a fighter.

A resident of Ajmer, Rajasthan, Shreyans completed his Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay (IIT–B), in 2015. He worked with Ernst and Young for two years before deciding to apply for the civil services. This was his first attempt.

The UPSC issued statement states that the Commission has recommended a total of 759 candidates (577 men and 182 women) for appointment to various services like IAS, IPS, IFS and the allied services.

His first attempt at the Civil Service Examination was a month after he graduated in 2017. While Akshat could not clear the attempt, he says it was a great learning experience for him.
