Coorg entrepreneur Kavya Madappa runs Bluecat Paper, an eco-friendly startup that makes tree free paper from waste.

Dhara Kabaria and Sonali Phadke from Pune launched Studio Alternatives, a startup that upcycles old shipping containers into sustainable living spaces.

Founded by IIT-Roorkee alumni Ankit Alok Bagaria and Abhi Gawri, Loopworm creates an “extremely protein-rich diet” for fisheries, poultry farms and house pets by “farming insects to feed them using food waste”.

What started with just 4-5 plants, has now bloomed into a garden with hundreds of plants that provides the family with organic food, pure air and a cool temperature even in the rising heat of Delhi.

"I didn’t want the usual stairs and classrooms and wanted to create a fantasy land for the children. So I incorporated outdoor classrooms, a slide that goes through the entire building and an amphitheatre with walls made of glass bottles."
