Gyaansutra is an online portal started by 21-year-old Shweta Das, a resident of Jamshedpur, with an investment of Rs 5000 in May 2020, and today it has over 1000 students taking online classes.

Their teaching stints led both Dhruva and Rohan to conduct many one-on-one sessions with their students to understand their aspirations in life and problems they were facing in studies.

Wanting to spend their free time in a meaningful manner, the couple decided to take on the task of providing education to those bright students who did not have the means to attend a formal school.

The teacher temporarily stepped away from the blackboard, picked up a webcam, and launched his website and a YouTube channel.

"Our main aim is to ensure that education does not become a burden. We needed to find a middle path which would ensure that the teacher was paid and the students or their families did not feel the pinch.”
