We met a very vivacious Rahil Mohsin during the Bengaluru ComicCon, held in the Garden city recently.

One of the most interesting things that Vishwanath told me during our conversation was that kids do not learn a language in classrooms. A key point that he and his team learnt at the beginning of their venture was that kids usually speak two to three languages from very early on in life. Understanding this was perhaps significant in coming up with modules that facilitated the kids to learn English.

Mapui Kawlim, a 13-year-old girl from Mizoram, is the latest superhero character introduced by Tinkle Comics. The magazine is celebrating its 35th anniversary this November and is all set to break many stereotypes. 

A 248-page comic book honouring the 21 awardees of Param Vir Chakra will be released this week. The book is the result of combined efforts by the Indian Army and Amar Chitra Katha Pvt. Ltd.
