Indic Initiatives, the brainchild of B G Seetharaman, Vinay Kumar and Rajeeva Deekshit has pioneered an end-to-end machine that recycles difficult-to-process paper waste like paper cups, tetra pak, and tissues.

In 2012, under the ‘Go Green with Tetra Pak’, the ‘Cartons Le Aao, Classroom Banao’ campaign was launched where waste Tetra Pak cartons were recycled to make benches which would be donated in government schools.

This Mumbai municipal school has set a sustainable benchmark, by using upcycled furniture.

While the ban of alcohol in Bihar and the boost of tetra pak alcohol sales in Andhra Pradesh might seem contradictory, they're in fact aimed at one goal: reducing consumption of illicit liquor.
