Shell India’s ‘Changemakers of Tomorrow’ 2024 highlighted youth-driven innovations designed to propel India towards a low-carbon future. The event featured the top 10 groundbreaking solutions tackling challenges in food, energy, and water.

Four students of a govt. School in Kerala won the 'Popular Choice Award' at the TiE Global Student Pitch competition for pitching an idea on filter coffee capsules from cassava that will be organic, eco-friendly and travel-friendly.

From the design point of view, the footrest of the regular toilet has seen an ergonomic development. It is elevated at an angle which makes it easier for the user to squat on. Besides, the toilet also has a universal demarcation to help the visually impaired access it.

This is the first year when participation has been opened to other countries. India participated for the first time and Team Neutrino represented it in Washington, where the final round was held.

A young man from Assam, known for his helpful inventions, has developed the simple and effective device combining an umbrella with a solar plate and battery.

The anti-piracy device uses infrared sensors to blur images on recording devices & has been developed by students of Mailam Engineering College, Villupuram.
