From being a single parent to nurturing her ‘mother’ (the Earth) and travelling to New York to receive UNESCO award, Anasuyamma’s life is truly inspiring.
She went to live with her sister and brother-in-law but nothing could fill the void left by the death of her parents. “There is no one or nothing that can replace the love and support that your parents provide you,” she says.

On January 1, 2016, Aditya Tiwari, a resident of Pune, made history by becoming India's youngest single parent to adopt a special child. He adopted Binney, a child living with Down syndrome. This is his story of the two eventful months since then.
