With the objective of reinstating people’s faith in communal harmony and peaceful co-existence, Brahmins as well as Sikhs in the Moom village of Barnala district, which is located on the border of Ludhiana, have joined hands to construct a mosque for their Muslim brethren.

Volunteers from the UK-based International humanitarian relief Sikh organisation, Khalsa Aid, made it to the Bangladesh-Myanmar border to provide relief to lakhs of Rohingyas.

The first Sikhs in Afghanistan can be traced back to the 15th Century, while the Sikh community in Georgia is fairly more recent.
