Haribaabu Naatesan from Mumbai has had his unique sculptures displayed at major exhibitions, organisations and real estate giants’ premises across the country.

A statue of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose will soon be installed at Delhi's India Gate and the man who will make it is Adwaita Gadanayak, the Director-General of National Gallery of Modern Art.

Harminder Boparai, who comes from a village in Punjab, has made a name for himself the world over by sculpting artwork from scrap pieces of wood and metal, among other materials. The recipient of several national and international awards shares his inspiring journey.

“My mother made her own fortune, breaking into a male bastion. She bought a house, car and luxury items with her own income. She had always been this daring and adventurous person, yet never compromising on her household or professional duties. She made a lot of sacrifices to reach this height,” recounts her son Dhruv Shilpi. #Tribute

It had been a dream that provoked little Sutar to run away for good, where a ‘golden’ sparrow told him to chase his passion of art.
