Ramaa's Kitchen, started in Chennai, is a service that provides nutritious homemade meals to COVID-19 patients and also makes appalam, vadams and papads.
“When I started, I wanted to make it easier for people to cook food that reminds them of home. I hope people find it easy to replicate food that was, perhaps, cooked in their granny’s kitchen,” says Sneha Sirivara.
“It was during my stint in the U.S. that I realised that while I remembered the theoretical concepts, and had the requisite marks, my knowledge and sense of application of many theories were nearly non-existent.”
Juggling her passion for food with a full-time career, Chennai resident Sheela Subramaniam offers centuries-old family recipes with a healthy, organic twist.
