Railway Stations

Keeping customer convenience in mind, the cabinet recently approved a proposal to revamp 400 stations, and give them airport-like facilities, like food courts, retail outlets, medical facilities, etc.

Indian Railways is planning to introduce many facilities at stations for differently-abled passengers or people with medical conditions.

Makeovers seem to be the latest trend in the world of railway stations in India. Stations across the country are getting swanky walls with beautiful paintings, clean platforms, colourful stairs, and a very welcoming environment.

The approved model will cover stations which are located in major cities, metros and near famous tourist spots. Third parties can place bids and give a new look to the railway station as per their ideas and designs.
