Prithika Yashini

The Tamil Nadu government has issued orders for the inclusion of transgender people in the police force, which is going to recruit 13,137 police constables in its upcoming recruitment drive.

Prithika Yashini has been working very hard to ensure that she is fit enough to join Tamil Nadu police as the first transgender from the state. She had qualified all the tests till the end, before losing a 100 meters race by just about a second.
