Artisans of Banjara, an online portal, started by Srishti has helped provide a livelihood to various banjaras from Gurugram.

Dr Mani, who has spent almost four decades in the teaching profession, says, “I retire next year in October and in an attempt to do something meaningful at the time of my retirement I toyed with the idea of setting up a crockery bank in college.”

To keep up the good work, the Municipal Corporation of the city has now taken a step towards eliminating single-use plastic cutlery not only in government offices but in food joints and private functions too.
