Upcycling waste bottles sounds good? Well, the college is doing more than that. The students are now growing 25 different vegetables in waste cement bags, broken buckets and tin cans!

Not only has this simple initiative saved 1.4 lakh CO2 emissions, it has also increased the income of rag pickers by 25 per cent - a win-win for the planet as well as its people!

Not just that, the initiative is also letting the villagers earn some income as well. Here's how!

PET or plastic bottles are some of the biggest contributors choking our landfills today. Giving this plastic waste a new lease on life, Grow Bags recycles them to create a cloth-like bag that can be used to grow plants.
