Odisha-based doctor Shankar Ramchandani opened a ‘one rupee clinic’ last year to provide thousands of patients affordable healthcare.

Salma Shaikh gave birth to a healthy baby girl inside the ladies coach on Monday night stationed at platform number 3 of Dadar station.

Under the first phase, the clinics will be set up at major stations like Andheri, Churchgate, Mumbai Central and Bandra, and will slowly expand to all 24 stations on the Western Railway line.
