In this exclusive conversation, she speaks about her journey from being a petitioner to a lawyer in Mumbai, the support group she founded, and valuable advice she has for women going through a difficult time.

Unlike most conferences that heavily rely on the sage-on-the-stage format, this one will be based on curating meaningful and inspiring conversations between the speakers and the attendees.

“We try and initiate a dialogue about sexual health; the need for it, what we must cover in that conversation etc. We do this via a wide range of events and activities."

The Winter Tour, popularly known as Bharat Darshan, as the name suggests, is just that – a journey into India’s hinterlands and attachments with various governmental and private organisations to understand India better.

The opportunities for labour are many, but the wages are uncertain. After many years of this instability, when the opportunity for a steady income came Maheshwari's way, she was excited and weary.

“As a child, I had a lot of toys and often took them for granted. So when I realised that there are so many children whose parents can’t afford them, I just couldn’t just look the other way,” says the inspiring boy who recently won India's National Child Award. #YoungIndia #Respect

Thanks to this initiative, over four tonnes of waste are diverted from landfills every single day. Other railway stations in India would do well to learn from this example!

“Cleanliness is not rocket science. All it requires is the coming together of various civic bodies and the citizens,” states Dinesh.
