68-year-old George Kutty was travelling from Adoor to Thiruvalla. Just as the bus crossed the town of Pandalam, he began to feel queasy.

A resident of Vakathanam in Kottayam, Tinu John realised that he was stranded at the Perumbavoor KSRTC bus stand in the midst of a heavy downpour on late on July 11 and that he was short on funds to purchase a ticket.

The news only came to the fore when the young woman posted about the entire incident in the form of a thank-you note for the kind gentlemen on social media.
