At a time when the city of Srinagar is reeling under the effect of several protests and riots, a few Muslim locals defied curfew to help perform the last rites of a Kashmiri Pandit woman.

A Kashmiri Pandit stood blindfolded at Press Colony in Srinagar, with a message inviting people to hug him in order to demonstrate brotherhood among different communities.
