Girish Badragond, a well-known rural innovator in Bijapur, Karnataka has launched a first-of-its-kind machine called ‘Blind Farming Technology.’

Over 600 tonnes of segregated wet waste, which was collected in the city, was processed into a whopping 4,306 tonnes of organic compost that was met with a great demand by the farmers.

The Karnataka state government will soon launch an agri mobile app to help farmers rent farm machinery and equipment like tillers, harvesters, weeders, tractors, etc. for a few hours or a day, as required.
