The pure love for trees and the environment led these extraordinary individuals into taking the concept of tree plantation to another level!

A software engineer from Chhattisgarh came to Bengaluru 11 years ago. Concerned about the decreasing green cover in the city, he started planting trees on weekends in the year 2007. In the past eight years he has planted over 35,000 saplings and organized numerous plantation drives.

Indian team gave a very impressive performance at the recently held Asian Rowing Championships in Beijing. The participants grabbed seven medals and made the country proud. Here's more.
