Today, he not only feeding over 700 underprivileged cancer patients and their relatives food but also helping them get free medicines and accommodation in a city like Mumbai.

Uma Shetty of Mumbai, who lives in a small hut and works as a domestic help, cares for and shelters stray animals. Recently, Uma rescued seven puppies, packed in a sack and thrown in a trashcan near JJ Hospital.

Saraswati Singh, a 30-year-old woman from Mumbai was on her way to JJ Hospital when she went into labour. Fortunately, there was a doctor in the nearest ladies compartment of the same train and she was willing to help.
