Currently riding from Kashmir to Kanyakumari, Aditya Mehta, a below-knee amputee, is also working with the Border Security Force (BSF) to scout talented youngsters with physical disabilities who will represent India in the 2024 and 2028 Paralympic Games.
The couple, Sumeedha and Yogesh Chithade sold jewellery worth Rs 1.25 lakh to construct an oxygen-generation plant at 13,000 feet, which will be used to refill the oxygen cylinders used by the Indian Army.
