She founded the Bal Rashmi Society on 14th November, 1972 with the motto "Save Children, Save Generation".

His objectives have been to develop appropriate technologies, improve product efficiency and quality, make products commercially viable, and create a strong network of the organisation, farmers and artisans within the community.

He became a conduit between the Gandhian movement and the policy-makers of the country.

The Jasmine Revolution in Tunisia, and the subsequent Arab Spring, shook the foundations of power in the Arab world. Through it all, one man helped guide Tunisia successfully to true democracy, and inspired leaders all over the world – Sheikh Rached Ghannouchi.
