The army roped in three columns for rescue and relief operations in Sanchore, Ahor and Jalore, situated at the south bank of Jawai.

In the first week of January, he started a scheme named 'Charan Paduka Yojna' with the aim of providing shoes to 25,000 school children before Republic Day.
