Souritra and Jay worked on developing a small electronic device that sits on the windshield of a car, shielding the drivers from sudden or bright sunlight that can cause the driver temporary blindness, making the a road hazard.

What’s more? Sundaram Verma from Sikar district has also saved seven lakh litres of rainwater in just a couple of days!

“Stay hydrated. Beat the heat,” said their blue-eyed bot, Jasper, as it carried several bottles and quenched the thirst of Mumbaikars last month by giving free water!

Easily installable in homes, offices, petrol pumps and even cars, these ‘fireballs’ are equally effective on fires caused by liquids, gases and electrical short circuits. And the best part? No special training or skill is required to operate them!

After extensive research about the biggest issues that affected the global climate change, he settled to work on alternatives to clean cooking energy.

“The seeds of this device were sown during a conversation with my father. He had mentioned his concern for patients who died on their way to the hospital just because the ambulance took time to respond.”

The waste segregator is currently available in four capacities—500 kg, two tonnes, five tonnes and ten tonnes.
