A cooking series launched by Sid Nath of Cafe Delhi Heights, will feature a chef along with an interpreter for sign language, to make the videos accessible to hearing impaired viewers.
This invention by four students of Amrita School of Engineering, Bengaluru, converts sign language to verbal speech. It took the students 16 weeks to develop the glove and is specific to Indian sign language.
On the occasion marking the completion of his 10 years in office, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan announced that sign language will now be recognised as a separate language in Madhya Pradesh.
